The Mavic Open Pro Carbon UST rim crowns the Mavic Open Pro series. It is slightly lighter than the aluminium model thanks to carbon fibres and features iTgMAX brake track technology for optimum braking performance in all conditions. It is best to ride them without a tube to benefit from Road Tubeless advantages, such as lower rolling resistance, puncture protection and less weight. The rim profile of the Open Pro Carbon is 25 mm high and therefore rather flat.

Integral Glass Transition Temperature. iTgMAX means an inner rim bed sealed with multiple layers of seamless carbon fibre to achieve a unique one-piece rim shape without cutting away fibres. The brake track is given a lasered finish to guarantee optimum braking efficiency. Consistent and efficient braking, 50 % less time to decelerate in wet conditions.
