This repair kit is used for internal gear mechs on the one-piece axle ring (used until the model change at the beginning of 2003). The one-piece axle ring can be recognised by the fact that the axle plate is fastened with 6 axle plate screws. The two train guides are firmly pressed into the axle ring. When changing the shift cable, the axle ring with cable pulley must be dismantled.
