Torque dissipation – The TS OEM Axle Plate by Rohloff
The axle plate that’s suitable for your bike type, if necessary together with a torque arm or support adapter, transfers the torque of the Rohloff Speedhub to the frame. OEM axle plates are the right choice for special Rohloff frames. TS (Touring Screw [Axle]) stands for screw axles with M10x1 axle nuts.
The Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 OEM versions require Rohloff OEM dropouts. The support block of the OEM axle plate sitting in the extended slot of the left dropout replaces the long torque arm of the standard version. For non-suspension frames, the sliding Rohloff OEM dropouts or an eccentric bottom bracket can also be used. These replace the chain tensioner and the chain guide. This results in a tidy and clear appearance, as well as highly reliable functionality of the chain drive in extreme driving conditions.
